i just got serial no 003 is it worth any more because of the low serial no? if so how much?

You got series number 3, meaning is was made in the 3rd year of production. Probably 1000 others out there with series 3 on the plate. The thing is worth $150 in this part of New Jersey if it works.

thanks, the #0003 is stamped on the plate in the serial # box. it came with a jd 1010 that has under 600 hrs of operating hours on it. i pulled it out of the barn it was stored in. waiting for replacement carb to start it up. engine turns easy with starter so, here's hoping.
