What size hydraulic ram/lift for plow and disk?

I'm looking at a MM 3x14 pull type plow and a MM UO 10'6" wide pull type disk. What size cylinder do I need to attach for a lifting each? Will a 3"x8" work for each? I'm pulling these with a M5, how long should the hydraulic hoses be for safe operation??

Don't know how much pressure your tractor makes, but a 3x8 would do just fine, a 2x8 would work on the plow, but if price isn't that different, go with the 3". As for length, I'd hook up to which ever of the 2 got the cylinder the furthest from the tractor, then measure how long they need to be. Add 6" or a foot for hanging and turning and you'll be fine.
