Just looked at some of these at a dealer yesterday and was wondering if anyone has any experience with them. They are built in Iowa and we liked the looks of the Model HW 255 (I think that was it) We feed silage in bunks (about a wagon load a day) and don't need a big mixer like the feed lots use. Does anyone know the whereabouts of a used one? We are currently using an old (40 yrs) Grain-O-Vator 60 which has served us well but it about shot. Thanks for any input.

My dad had a schuler wagon before he retired, had it for maybe 8-10 years, and hauled maybe 10-12 loads every day, I can't remember ever having a breakdown. They are built very well.

There are a couple of unused feed wagons north of Nickerson, KS on Hunter Blvd., aka 22nd street.

They have been setting for a number of years without being used. Don't know if they are shot or if they would be in decent working order with a little TLC. Also don't know the brand.

I guess if you are interested I could try to drive by for a look to see if they are still there. Wouldn't know much about them, so don't know if I could give you a decent opinion or not.

They set on the east side of the road if they are still there. I think maybe the shed is a pale blue. I seem to remember the roof being collapsed on a part of a shed or ?? The entire place is quite cluttered. It has been a year since I was past there.

I noticed your Hometelco address. My daughter and son-in-law use it as their server as well, at Galva.
