Does anyone know what the RPM was on the main drive pulley? I'm thinkin about maybe hooking it up to a long pto shaft, just wonderin if it would work. Reason being i have no drive belt. just a thought, let me know what you think

I use my drive belts for driving the load and as a slip clutch. If you go with a shaft drive, you may want to include a shear bolt or slip clutch. Standard belt speed was set at 3100 feet per minute, but I don't know when this standard was established.

My grandpa had a Belle City thresher. I have the books from it.

Cylinder RPM 20x32 is 1300 RPM. The 22x40, 24x40 and 28x48 the cylinder RPM is 1100 RPM.

I can't say for sure just guessing but if you figure that say you where useing an old JD-B to run it and max RPM on a B is around 1500 and the belt pulley is 12 inch diameter and then go from there to figure out how fast the pulley on the machine would go. You also need to figure that most PTO RPMs are 545. Hope this helps you some
