The 9N-2N tractors should only be considered a 2-12" plow tractor, not the 14's that most people think they want, in 1944 with new tractor dealer brought out a 14" plow, after a round went back and brought out what they should have first time, a 12" plow and still have that tractor and plow

If you plan to break sod with it you will be disapointed. I bought a Dearborn 2 bottom 14" and it was more than my poor 2N would pull breaking sod in our loamy clay. Then I found a Ferguson 1 bottom 16" and it was a much better match for my tractor.
Good Luck
Jerry

Jeeper: The only fergie 2 bottom plow I ever saw doing a poor job of plowing was indeed operator induced. Just a great little plow. The hitch and plow are exactly what made Harry a great man.
