I'm about to replace the tires on this running gear I got not to long ago. I'm using 15" truck tires and was wondering if I should put tubes in them or not?

My experience has been that a tubeless tire in a low speed application will leak eventually. I've had better luck using tubes.

Matt, I work in an auto shop and do several tire jobs a week. I like tubless and its quite easy. Clean the rims up with some sanding especially the area where to tire beads to the rim. We always use bead sealer( NAPA Carquest PETBOYS), this liquid brushes on the rim all around the bead surface and then lube your tire and pop it on. If you use bead sealer it will not leak around the bead..guarenteed!. I use light truck tires on my hay wagons, 15" on one 16's on the others, I usually pick out the decent throw aways at work and they are more than sufficient for 120 bale loads. We use a lot of bead sealer at work especially on aluminum rims that leak because of corrosion. We sand the powdery white corrosion off, add bead seal and the tire is back in business for a long time...good luck with the tires...Mike in Exeter Ontario

I mount or remount tires both ways dependent upon rim condition and design. Tubeless tires may leak about the rivits of some older rims. Otherwise; for myself, I prefer tubless tires. The important part to me is useing plenty of tire lubrcant on rim and tire. For tubes, this means greasing the entire rim under the inner tub; having ripped a couple inner tubs rust stuck to the rims.
That's my way. So what ever works.

Forgot to mention that the gears will be under a 16' hay rack.

For that I'd tube them that way in the future if they go flat you can use some slime in them
