If you find that Ford plates fit your unit, let me know. I have several sets of corn plates for a planter that I had a few years back.

Is it a mounted or trailing planter? You may be able to get a manual from Robert Campbell in MI. ([email protected]). I have operators manuals for both. I also have a manual on the planter seed plates. Let me know what information you need and I may be able to send or scan a page or something.

As I understand it, there are plates still available for the allis planters. I am not familiar with the Blackhawk, but would suspect that it would be very similar. You may want to check with your local Agco dealer. I have a two row Allis planter and I bought new plates from them.

Black Hawk plates are nothing like A-C plates. A-C plates are the same as JD plates, though.

A brothor has told me he had one once upon a time. It's all gone now. What I remember was his telling he carried 2 extra bags fertilizer drapped over the Ford tractor hood, so's he'd have enough to plant back to where started. That field was 1/4 mile deep.
It might have been originally horse drawn.
Sorry if this isn't much help. I wanted a break from h__s_ cl__n_ng.

Crescent # 25, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Now living in Florida and ashamed to admit I haven't sat in Lodge for 27 years or so. Dues paid up, though.
