IH 710 plow vs 710 auto reset plow

I've seen some 710's with auto reset and some without.

What does auto reset do? Is it worth the extra money?

Michael: with the auto reset you just keep driving forward. When you hit a rock or something solid the auto reset will trip and be back in the ground plowing before you can turn around to see what the noise was. It sounds like a riffle cracked when they trip and reset. That is providing it is working properly. With a toggle trip The plow bottom will trip back and you have to stop and back up to reset the plow bottom that triped.

Have a IH plow out back I've never used with one plow tripped verticaly. How do I get it back down? A big-a-hammer?
I haven't had this problem with the Olivers.
An almost seventy yr. old student.
