Can you use a reguler moldbore plow to plow up sweet potatoes or do you need somthing else?

A single moldboard plow will work fine for plowing sweet potatoes. It needs to have a coulter to cut the vines on one side. It will work even better if you cut about 10 inches off the back of the moldboard. This keeps the soil from turning all the way over leaving the potatoes on the top of the furrow. A middlebuster works fine on white potatoes but not on Sweet potatoes, the vines hangup unless the vines are cut on both sides and then the potatoes want to hangup on the plow frame. I have a 1 row and 2 row sweet potato plow. The two row has the plows mounted on a old ford cultivator frame. Hope this helps.
