I think it is a Model 1 because (M1) is stamped under all legible part numbers. It is about 8 feet long and has 13 rows. It is in excellent condition except the seed boots which are rusted out. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Jason

Massey liked to use "M" suffixes on parts for just about everything. See if you can find a junk Massey-Ferguson 26 or 33 drill and check if the boots on that will fit. They may not look exactly the same, but often bolt patterns will be the same. Companies didn't like to spend money on redoing casting moulds unless there was a really good reason. That's why a Van Brunt boot from 1920 will fit on a JD drill from 1958. It worked so they kept it.
