There is a lot of discussion on painting implements . I agree it is hard to find out the proper colors, I myself have several pieces to paint. I have a JD model H spreader for one, plus my balers and such,, is there any place that tells us colors? anyone know of a website? Thanks,,,Jim

Painting equipmeny is an art. Myself I want everything just right: sanded, wire-wheeled, bumped and ground, precleaned with thinner, and above all the wind out of the right direction. Never seen it fail. Just about the time I finish the last cup. I get company and a good wind coming up the driveway.

We have a large pole barn, 36x62, that I will be doing my painting in,, using a gun is new to me, so I will practice on some old junker or my horse trailer one. Worst thing about painting in the U.P is bugs sticking to everything...Jim

After my company leaves, my paint jobs may not always be called slick; but I feel for ya. In my younger days I met some of your UP flies. Their company I could have done without. And did when ever I could find a breeze. If you're painting this Winter. That's one whole lot of heating going on. To bad somebody doesn't invent some cold weather hot paint. Mean timr look at all the cleaning and fixing you can between now and April's fool.
