Any body know much about an Oliver 3240 plow. It is a 14" 2 bottom. I want to use it on a Ford Jubilee with a sherman transmission in farily light soil. Is this too much for this tractor? What might this be worth considering it seems to all be there and only surface rust.

I have an old Oliver 14" 2 bottom plow (not sure about the model number). I have used it with both my Fords (8N and 3000). Of course, the 3000 pulls it with no trouble, but the 8N does okay if it's set up properly and I don't bury the plow too deep. I also have some clay in my soil, so it might work even better for you,

I can't tell you about the plow (except that Olivers have good reputations). However, my grandfather pulle a 2-14" JD plow with his NAA (no Sherman) in heavy clay soil without trouble, so you should be OK as far as that goes.
