Well, I decided to send 4 to the auction today. (northern PA) Didn't want to chance the price going lower after feeding them for another month. Got from $.75 to $.81 for Hereford X. I'll know in another two weeks if I made the right decision.

May not be where it was a couple of weeks ago but I would be happy to sell 11 weights for $.78 from now on. I've sold more 5 weights at $.80 or less than at a $1.00.

Yes, I'd be happy to keep a level market in the upper 70s. I did sell a couple of 1300 pounders for $1.00 in October but I knew that wouldn't last. Anyway, this last batch I sold I bought for .68 as four weights and fed them for 10 months. Can't complain about that.
