Hello Everyone, Thanks for all the information about building a three point single bottom plow from my other posts. I want to home build it and use it behind a Kubota 19 hp B8200 HST tractor.I certainly can see there are some difficulties in constructing one. However nothing that seems insurmountable. The problem is I really do not want to buy a two or three bottom and cut it down, nor do I want to buy a new Howse or other brand plow. Another factor is I've got the time, steel and the actual plow portion off a wrecked older plow that I'm sure will work. I'm very reluctant to try to build one without plans. I just have not be able to locate plans or a plow to take measurements and make my own. At this point, it appears that I'm still dead in the water. I'm open to all sugesstions, links to possible help or any other ideas. Thanks, Joe

don't you have any skills, design your own for pete's sake. Build it as you go. Better yet, go down to TSC and buy on for $150, brand new, I guarantee you will never wear it out on your garden.

Guy named John Deere beat you to it by a few years. Good luck.

A picture vs 1000 words.....

Go to machinery dealers, & take some pics & measurements.

Never saw any plans to build your own, as there are so many plows rusting away out there - buy a single bottom for $75 & rebuild it. Takes more iron & rod than $75 for most people, so you are a rare bird to have the parts but not a plow frame.

Isn't this kind of like re-inventing the wheel?

Joe: Have read your post an agree your project is not insurmountable. However before anyone can help you they must know exactly what you have. In fact the only way I would tackle it is by having a couple of photo shots of what you have. I have done this before and can assure you photo is only way to go.
