Has anyone out here converted an Oliver 565 HYD. reset plow to get away from the Dry Nitrogen canister? My canistor leaks and I loose the dry nitrogen so then the relief valve blows on the plow. Canistor cost BIG$$$$. some one convert any to work like a J.D. Hyd. reset plow? or take a hyd. cyl and spring load it to push against the plow cyl's? Plow to good to scrap. But not worth sticking big bucks into it either. Thankyou for any advice Jerry

i have a ac 2000 hydraulic reset plow. the cannister is the same as on a case 500 plow.
i charge it with nitrogen gas. i use this when
i do refrigeration work. (cost is about $ 4.00).
i would look around for a used one if possible.
try listing in the ytmag classified wanted section.
however, verify that the accumulator bladder is tight by holding a charge via a psi gauge.

In the past we took the canistor off and took it to the dealership that had the equipment to recharge the canister and before we got home, it already had lost it's charge. Cost us more than $4 to get it charged. And I know just enough in refridgeration to make me dangerous, and not enough to know what I can do. So I was looking for a one time fix to figure this out and not have to deal with fancy contraptions. Thanks Jim for reply.
