Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving! I am looking at a 9ft cut Hesston conditioner. I have only used N.H. haybines. (469-479). How do they compare to a New Holland Haybine durabilty wise? What years were they built? Parts availibilty and priced resonable? H.P requirements? Any info is appreciated. Thanks, John

We had a 1091. Bought it new in 1983. We used it until 1999 when we bought a 8200 self propelled. It was an excellent machine and would not have hesitated to go another bunch of years with it.

We've two. A 500 self propelled and a 1400 hydro-turn, from about the early to mid sixties. We use a 90 horse tractor on the 12' 1400. I like the `Model T' simplicity in design and lack of expensive heavy gear boxes. They've been doing 400 acres for us for years. Fern from Mi.
