any know anythng about JD mower it has steelwheels, a tool box with john deere on it,the seat has john deere on it, on the hubs it has [BIG no 4] I think it's horse drawn ,it has 95% green old paint still on it I'll like to know how old it is an what the value is thanks carmen

Location is everything in price, that JD is the most desireable mower ever made in Amish areas, if you are any where close to the amish they will buy completly junk machines just for parts just for that one good part that is no longer avaible from JD, A person about 60 miles buys them as rebuilding units or in better condition just reconditions them for resale, In top rebuilt conditions the have sold for over $1000 at auction, The next best mower is the IHC No. 9

as for the value... depends on how bad someone wants one to sit out on their front lawn all painted up nicely :)

got an old Oliver sitting by the barn with a bush growing up through it
