Knife breaking 50 to 100ml from knife head. Cant work out cause! Any Ideas welcome.

Bill, knife heads breaking are almost almost always caused by a knife that does not slide back and forth as freely as it should. One question: Do you ever break the bolt that drives the knife? If not not, I will bet that guards are bent or your blades and guards are that dull that they can't cut sliced butter. One thing people over look is the guards. They wear out too. If the bolt breaks sometimes as well, then the problem is usually in the wobble arm. Steve

Thanks for the advice, had an old one and never had any trouble, bought a second hand one and have broken three so far, thanks for the advice.
