I acquired a set of front forks and mounting frame off an old fork lift. I want to be able to either hook them up 3pt or to the front of 730 loader with bucket removed. Any ever done this if so all input appreciated.

Find you a good welding shop who is capable of "manufacturing". We have a great one here who does as much ag related work as commercial and knows his business. We took the 851 with 730 loader to him so he could use measurements of bucket for the uprights which the cylinders attach to and top and bottom pieces which finished the frame. Then he made the two forks (2 inch square tubing) and welded them in place. With that on front and a 3pt on the rear I can move, load, haul, or feed 2 round hay bales at a time (we have 4X4 bales) day in and day out. (Don't espect it to lift more than 5-600#) I think cost was $450.

I built one using 4 by 3 tubing Georgia Pacific was going to scrap. Made mounts for mounted it to 730 loader and have lifted and hauled just about everything imaginable. It will lift more than 500lb I was lifting 2 16" by 20 foot creasote light poles with no problem.
I am in the process now of building one using orginal fork lift hardware. Just wnated to see if any one had a diagram or photo to go by. I have a good idea on what I want to do.
As far as welding goes I have that covered, I have been certified/recertified for the past 20 years.
