I Have cylinders on the bucket for my loader that is leaking all over the place.
How big of a deal is it to rebuild these or at least out new seals in them?

May get in trouble for suggesting this but you might try some motor stop leak in there before you tear them down. I have used it in a old m farmall with no. 30 loader and it has stopped the leaks. It will soften the o rings and make them seal better. Buy the little better brand. 4 or 5 dollars at wally world. This has stopped leaks on hydralic cylinders also.

Hi Kelly, hard to tell from pic, looks like they have a threaded gland nut to unscrew and pull rod out it will have piston on the end with seals on it,and held on with a bolt.I bolt the eye of the rod to the bottom of loader bucket with a 1 inch bolt, put a block of soft wood under rod on piston end,You will need 3/4 drive socket, breakover bar and 6 foot pipe!!Get seals from whatever brand loader it is,HTH,BOB.

Some can be a job, but not too bad, you've done bigger jobs like the baler.

How is the shaft, might need to replace or resurface that.

What type of cylinder, some are welded, some are rods holding together, some are...
