Need a service manual for repairing the knotter on this bailer. An operators manual would be nice as well.
Anyone online who sells this?
Thanx; Tom S.

Thanx everyone, esp. for the Gehl advice. I have a dealer nearly within walking distance who stocks a full Gehl inventory of new balers and parts.
I also have Mr. Austin for a resource from this board, but I only bother him when I absolutly have to. I don't want to wear out my welcome with him!

Write or call the Gehl corporation. They sell the same baler under their name. I have the manual that I bought from them. This is a good, high capacity bailer.

My operator's manual had a pretty good section on the knotters when I was having knotter problems 18 months ago. Being a complete novice I was rather intimidated, but the manual walked me through removal of the parts I needed to replace. Turned out I had a broken jaw on the bill hook.

My biggest problem was finding replacement parts. EXPENSIVE! If you have problems finding a manaual, email me and I'll make some photocopies of the pages. My manual came with my baler so I really don't have a good source for a new manual.
