Why is the price for a NH 450 mower so expensive? Compared to other 3-pt mowers( JD 350,Ford 501) these mowers are around $500 more. Is this mower that much better? Any info about this mower would be helpful.

I bought a 450 for 900.00 and its the best mower i've ever had, I dumped my ford 501 in a ditch.

Jason The 450 and 451 mowers sell for $ 750-1000 in this area,and yes they are very good. I can't compare them to the other models you mentioned, but I can tell you that my 450 works very well. I can mow first year timothy/clover hay with a ground speed of around 4 mph with a 32 hp tractor. Good luck Roy
