IH #37 Disk part # needed....

I have a 9' or so #37 or #370 IH disk. I need a part number, the part, or a good sketch of the steel peice that you rotate and pin in to hold the cylinder in. Any help would be appreciated.

The book says to (Close the cylinder latch and lock in place with a quick-attachable cotter) it is about 1/4" thick and you could just take a piece of cardboard to start, put a hole fore the pivot pin and just start cutting away till it fits in and will flop over, no longer have the disk but do have the operators manuals if interested in a copy, the 7 blade on a side is a 8' 6" if with 7" spacing, 8 blade is 9' 7" and with 9" spacing 6 blade is 9' while 7 blade is 10' 4"

On the owners manuals I have made many a copy for people and I charge exactly what it costs me, I have some manuals at the copy shop now and their price is. $.15 for a double sided page with state sales tax, and then postage. I have 2 versions of the manual dated 2-14-58 & 10-8-62 and they are like day and night difference, between the 2 there are 36 pages so on a double sided copy 18 x .15 = $2.70 plus tak at 7% .19= $ 2.89 plus postage. If anybody is interested email me. I do the same for any of my approx. 1,000 manuals

You�re talking about just the little latch piece that flips over the pin in the cylinder? I don�t know the part # but can take it off and trace or scan it for you if you�re just trying to make an accurate copy. Pretty simple piece if I correctly understand your need. I know the guy I purchased my 56 planter from said he paid $42 for the similar part on it from a Case dealer.

that is exactly what I need. A copy will do, and then I can make or have made what I need. I have the old one, but part of it is broken. I got out my trusty balin wire and made it so the cylinder would stay all the way against the latch but it looks like crap.....

I can email you some pictures of my 37 disc-where the cylinder attatches to the front and rear if that's what you need?
It does not have the self -leveling hitch,just the regular crank adjusterIf you mean the double tubed thing for the small cylinders,I have one.

The part I am talking about is what holds the front of the cylinder in. you pin the cylinder in the back, and then extend the cylinder forward until you can rotate this plate down and it has a hook type cutout that hlds the cylinder from going back out. it is kind of hard to explain--if you take the cylinder off and on a lot you would probably know exactly what I am talking about ;-)
