I have a friend that broke 2 neddles? off while baling this weekend. It has got off time? He said that once before when he sheared a pin off, he was able to get it back on time. He says that the knotting system is all out of whack?? He wanted me to post this and was wondering if anybody knew what he was talking about. He also said that some of the gears that usually were on the bottom were turned up on top. He doesn't know how to turn them back around. Also where is a good source for a manual for this baler? Thanks J Risher

I know what your friend is talking about. He needs a manual, it would take pages to explain what to do. Go to New Holland dealer (used to be Ford). Naturally they could do the work for your friend if he feels he is in over his head.

Around here the local welding shops all have jigs for welding the needles back together, our chain fell off a few years ago, the welders made them good as new for 1/2 the price.
