I have what I believe to be a JD 953 running gear and I need a new rim (15"). Is there anyone that sells after-market reproduction wheels? Whenever I call the JD dealer I get a heart attack when they quote me the price! (maybe someone out there has a good used one for me?) Thanks, Fredct

That _should_ be a standard 6 or 8 bolt implement rim, found anywhere????? I think?

Actually, Paul, I have a couple of those gears, and they are not standard. The 6-bolt pattern is the same as standard, but Mr. Deere decided to be smart and make his center hole a little smaller than standard, so that a standard wheel doesn't snug up on the center of the hub.

do an internet search for farm tire dealers, most dealers also have replacement wheels available for just about any implement. Or, check with some of your local tire dealers.
