Anyone have any experience with Morra hay equipment Agri Supply? I'm interested in a 4 rotor tedder and they are half the price of JD, NH, or Kuhn. Can't find much info about where they are made or parts availability.

Hi, I have a 420 Mora I got from Agri- Supply. They are made in Italy like most tedders are. I have had no problem getting parts, the dealers have a lot of parts and if not they get them UPS from a distribution center. I have one that I have had 4 years, have had to replace the end horizonal bearings. I cut 55 acres of hay 3 times a year and tedder each cutting 3 times to get fast drying time. The JD and NH tedder are the same machine, probable a Kuhn, as the NH dealer told me green paint costs more. I got prices from $3800 to $5500 from JD and NH. Useage will determine what you should buy. Bill

there's a reason they're half-price. Junk.

Morra tedders are not junk. The reason NH & JD tedders are overpriced is they do not MFG these tedders and that alone will increase the price 20-40%. They both are Kuhn. We have been selling tedders for 20 years. The Morra may not be the best tedder in the world but it's a good value. We do not sell the Morra line of equipment but I know it well.Look in the spring of 2004 for CCM to sell their 17' tedders with hydraulic fold for $2,400 or less.

Then why don't NH and Deere tedders cost 20% to 40% more than Kuhn, who makes them? They don't. And what major manufacturer of round balers uses their square baler pickup on their round baler, like you claim? You may know hay equipment, but you blow a lot of smoke, too.

JD, NH, & Hesston use the same pickup design on their square bales and round balers. The stripper bands are the same configuration and thickness. Their cam bearings & cam tracks are the same. The reel is the exact same construction.
