Does anybody know where I could find a set of tracks/ halftracks for a farm tractor? I recall seeing Ford 8N's with the 20-some years ago.

You need to get a hold of "Guy" in Minnesota. Don't know how to get hold of him but pst on the farmall and A_C board every once and a while. He has alot of that stuff and knows alot about them.

I have a set of these half tracks which came off an IH 300 utility. These were made by Bombadier but are just like the Arps Units. They come complete with brackets and idler wheels. Let me know if you are interested as I would sell them.

Those were ARPS half-tracks, and they were also made to fit other brands. Used to see advertising showing them on a WD45. Don't know if the company still exists, but on ratre occasions I have seen them in classified ads. Not too common an item.

They are now called Amerequip. They make backhoe attachments for John Deere and Bush Hog among other things.
