TD-5 halftrack

I just purchased what I believe is a IH TD5 crawler. Its a halftrack setup as apposed to the standard tracks on a dozer. Its a great machine with a 4-cyl diesel and a gearmatic 9 winch. Unfortunatley, the plates are barely readable. I think it says TD-5, but its hard to say for sure. Any ideas on how to identify this thing? All thoughts are appreciated.

Looks like some of the old log skidders i've seen in pictures from logging camps in the 40's and 50's.

Can you post a picture of it? It sounds interesting. I have a T-5 with a loader
and a Gearmatic 8a winch.
