I found an Oliver mower/conditioner for sale at an auction and am wondering about them. Is anyone out there using one? My Oliver book only shows a Model 129, but infers that there might be other models. Anyone know. Were they good machines or did they have problems? Thought I might go to the auction and check it out. Never seen one before. Maybe replace my New Holland 460 with it if I can get parts for it (Bigger Oliver fan than New Holland). I know that Oliver was already owned by White and maybe other models came out as Whites right away. Thanks for the info.

I got to go to see the mower/conditioner this morning and it is a model 129. I'm guessing it is a 9' cut. Looks easy to work on. Has good tires. Turned the PTO shaft by hand and everything seemed to work (nothing a little oil and grease won't clear up). The u-joints all seemed good. I'm still looking for any info anybody has. The auction is Thurs. 10/23. Thanks.
