I found a two bottom little genius plow on steel wheels, no paint but have always been kept inside. There is one small part that
needs welded and the "triggers" on the levers need some repairs. I don't know hardly anything about plows except that I want
one since my grandfather had one and I have his super C also. The fellow said make an offer, he is not real concerned about
getting a lot of money but I don't want to cheat him either. What is a ballpark figure to offer?

Depends if you want to use it or look at it. There is nothing wrong with Steel wheels, I have a restored 2-14 steel wheel with good shares and it plows like a dream. The handle triggers are easy to fix, but if the shares are bad they are hard to find in good condition. Somewhere I have the color scheme for painting it. You cannot get hurt on 50.00. Russ

P.S. if it is 2-14 it will be a load for the Super C. If it is 2-16 forget it. Russ

That is a tough call. I have seen them sell for $5 at farm sales, but i am not sure where to put the upper bound. I wouldn't think that it would be worth much more than $100 but I could be wrong. The newer ones with rubber are worth more i think. An old one on steel I really don't think is worth much, except for sentimental value. I might try offering $50 if it is an older steel wheeled model.
