I'm looking for a 2 wheel round bale cart. I have a small acreage and a couple horses and have some corriente steers. I want to be able to move round bales with my small tractor. I know the 3 point won't lift a round bale, thus needing a cart. I have seen these carts that have a bale spear mounted on it, and a winch or hydraulic cylinder to tip the bale up for transport. I have seen these work behind a pickup with a winch. Does anyone know who manufactures these, if anyone does. Or does anyone have plans to build one? any help would be appreciated.

You might want to look in to a tumble-bug. They use electric brakes to tip the bale carring assembly. Just don't neglect the wires and they work fine.

James is correct. The tumble-bug is the best. We still use the 1975 one we first purchased and have sold hundreds since then.

Where does a person find one of these. I am in Iowa. They are not a common implement here. Can anyone tell me a manufacturer. Thanks.
