One way plow question

I have an opportunity to buy a good used one way disc type plow. I have never used one before. I usually use a 3 bottom plow.
What is the difference between these two styles?
In what situation is the one way better.....worse....

I assume you mean a drag-type one-way disc plow. I used to pull my grandfather's one-way, I remember it had a trip rope you had to pull at the end of the row to pick it up so you could turn around. If you don't pick it up, you can break the discs, especially if the ground is pretty hard.

You can probably cover more ground with it than a mouldboard plow but it's not going to plow as deep. Take your pick. We eventually moved to plows with hydraulic cylinders and wheels. Make sure the gearbox that lifts it works ok.

Is it a drag plow? They haven't been used here for decades. The "One" in One way is the kicker. I've seen a neighbor's setup for three point hitch which makes it more maneuverable. I'd only run one in the garden I think. M2CW.
