I have one real similar and have been trying to find some info on it,too.Went through my dealers old manuals but didn't find anything except pickup balers.Seems like they started making the pickup baler about 1947(JohnDeere).Mine is larger than most that I have seen.My uncle bought it new and I think it was in the 1930's.It makes the same size bale as a late model baler. It is belt driven.Mine still bales.I still have 4 or 5 seperator blocks and some new "hand punch" wire.We power it with a B Farmall.I ran it back in the spring. If anyone knows anything about them or has a manual or knows where I can get a book about them, please email me.

: According to a book I have, it might be known as a Junior. Sold after the first world war till nearly wwII. Available with either its own Waterloo Boy engine while the real early ones could be had with a Root and Vanderwoort engine. In 14 x 18 size only for the Junior but there was a bigger model available in both 14 or 16. Moved from place to place with horses. JD had at varying times at least three models on the go. Sorry I can't be more specific. Tom
