I am going to upgrade my round baler. My old 845 has seen better days-it keeps breaking the chains. (Advice on that?)Whats your opion of the M&W4500, the NH 630, and what about the hesston series 540. Thanks

I've got a Vermeer 5400 Rebel baler. Wouldn't part with it for a dozen others. Makes a nice shaped, tight bale. Take little horsepower, and was about a grand cheaper than any of the competition's balers in the same class. Vermeer balers hold resale as good or better than any others too. Parts are easy to get, and Vermeer will help you with any problems you MIGHT have. Can't go wrong with a proven winner! JMHO,John

NH makes very good round balers. Except for the 630,634,638, and BR730. THey are low-end econobalers that have little capacity and less features. Look for a 640/644/648.
