Can someone identify this for me as far as the manufacturer and the model. The guy I bought it from was told it is a John Deere.

Oliver discs had part numbers beginning with DH and had round axles. Never saw one exactly like that one

That does not look like a John Deere to me, all the Deere wheel-less discs such as the JB models had curved bars connecting the front and rear.

If it is a Deere, there will be little "JD" marks on the bearings and other castings.

All of the markings on the bearing castings and so forth start with DH, such as the draw bar is stamped with DH6863.
