I got a "RED" IH sickle mower given to me last weekend along with a Cockshut model 300 or 330 side del. rake. The mower has a cracked belt drive pully and the tensioner pully is missing. I was told it was a model 100 perfect balance mower. Where can I get these parts at a reasonable price. I would prefer used as the exchange would kill me. I would appreciate any and all feedback. Thanx in advance Arnie

This must be a common problem with these mowers, I too have one with a busted pulley. I called the dealer here in North Texas and was told that it(the pulley) is no longer availible. Unfortunatly the piece that busted got lost in the field and can not be found. So much for trying to weld it back up. If anybody can tell me where I can find one It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Arnie;

I have a IH 100 and it also has a cracked drive pulley, mine has been welded and it works fine. Maybe you could take yours to a welding shop if you can't do it yourself. As far as the tensioner pulley if you don't have the bracket that holds it then this could also be manufactured at a welding shop with a pulley from Farm & Country or the likes. You could also check with Case/ International for either a used one or a new one.

Good Luck!
