I have been unable to get the plunger stop adjusted properly. With all other sections in time in accordance with the manual, the plunger stop extends into the baler prior to neeedles being brought back to home. The needle carrier is hanging straight down and the upper attachment point is at the 8:00 position. What is my problem please? Bill

Mr. Bill,
it sounds like the lever end of the plunger stop is on the the wrong side of the needle lift arm.
it does have a turn-buckle type adjustment pull the pin loosen the jam nut and turn the arm ( the part that rests against the needle lift arm) with the needles in the "home" position the stop should not be in the case. standing on the flywheel side looking at the baler the needle lift should be in the "4 o-clock" position for home. hope this helps. also check the spring that pulls it up.
