Wheel bearings for a JD 14T

I just thought of another question. If I buy this baler and tow it home, it might be a good idea to have a new set of wheel bearings in hand when I grease the ones on it. Anyone know the bearing part numbers for this baler? A Timkin or NAPA number would be great.

Thanks in advance,
Bill

I'd be more worried about the spindle breaking off than the bearings. That happened on mine in the hayfield.

Grease them. Forget buying spares, but do get a manual! :) If you tow 30mph or slower, you can tow it all day, no problem.

I'd be willing to bet you could haul it 40 or 400 miles and not have a problem. Unless the hub cap (dust cover) is missing, you're good to go. You could take the time to re-pack the hubs but again, I don't think you'll have to worry. JD list their own part No(s) for them although a bearing supply store might list them. After s/n 75925 they're different left and right. Up to s/n 75924 Cone (x2) Part # JD 7372, Cup (x2) Part # JD 7409. Call JD Monday a.m. and price them out - just make sure you're sitting down when you do! While you're at it, order the manual and parts catalog - you'll need it. Good luck with your new baler.
