i use a woods finish mower and 5 ft bushhog with a ford 600. chain kits are used on each for height adjustment. Any better suggestions and where is float control lever? thank you

Ford 3pt only has float - no down pressure.

Are you asking about the position/ draft control? For most of us 'draft' is only useful for mounted plows or other heavy loads - needs to compress that big spring on the upper link to do anything -, altho some experiment with lighter stuff it really wasn't intended for such. 'Position' is what works for all your uses.

Should be a lever under your right thigh as you sit on the seat - altho I haven't looked at a 600 exactly.

Wheels or chains for height control.
