The manual for my JD 214T baler shows an optional JD No.2 bale ejector. I made a call about an ejector that was taken off of a JD 24T baler..can anyone tell me if that one would hook up to my 214T baler ? Would it also be a No.2 ? Thanks

We have a 224T that had a bale ejector,it was driven by a PTO shaft. The shaft hooked up to the gear box that runs the knotter, the gear box has a splined shaft coming out the back. The ejector bolted to the bale chamber,it was a pretty simple setup.I would say if your gear box has the splined shaft and the bale chamber is the same size it should work.My 2 cents worth!

Check that thrower well, because the #30 ejector was also available with pump, plumbing and adapter brackets to fit the 24T and 224T balers. It will not work, as far as I know, on a 14T or 214T. The #2 however, most likely can be fitted, as long as you can hook up the thrower drive shaft to the front of the baler somewhere.

pictures of my 214T when I go look at this thrower
