Has anybody out there ever heard of the forgey plow company. The company was in Vermillion,Kansas which is about 40 miles south of the Nebraska border and 90 miles west of the Missiouri border. Anyway the plow they made had two molboards in place of one solid lay it had two points kinda like shovels on a cultivator. The molboards were shaped like others but were spilt in the middle. This was to make them pull easier. But if you were plowing wheat stubble the straw would get between the molboards and the plow wouldn,t scour. They made some of there own plows but would put them on other plows like jd, ih ,etc. They made other things also in later years they just did blacksmith work. This had to be back in the 40,s 50,s. No big thing just thought it might be interesting write about perhaps someone has a plow they wondered about where it came from. Have a great day.
