Used equipment parts

In general, there are salvage yards that buy up the old (and not so old) farm equipment & as they turn it into scrap iron, they sell parts off of what they have. Some yards are connected into a regional or national network & can locate & ship parts all across the country - these tend to work with newer tractors & combines. Others specialize in haying or planting or ??? equipment. Smaller local ones might deal in 50 year old junk parts - harder to find these, as they tend to be unadvertised one-man operations & not linked together, no inventory control or anything, just stacks of junk, show up with your own wrenches & start walking...

So yes, there are places out there. Finding the right one to help with what you want is the challenge.
