I am looking for the left knotter frame assy for a Ford 530 baler. a model #532 may also work. This is a twine (string) type baler. I have had mine brazed once and it broke again. Reason unknown, but suspect the cam bolt (?) is binding. I know that it is worn and pitted with burs. The needles are not hitting the mechanism. Any suggestions?.

I also own a Ford 530 Baler, if you need knotting parts, I noticed that the one of the New Holland balers has the same knotter in it as the Ford does.

Thanx..... . Bob Krawchuk

I am not sure exactly where you are telling us it is broken but if it has broken twice I would imagine you have something that is worn and binding. Ideally, you would be able to find a parts baler somewhere. The knotter from a 532 or 542 should work just fine. I don't know if the parts are available but I would call the NH dealer and ask. If you don't have a parts manual, I can check mine when I get home on Monday. Sometimes with a less than willing parts guy having the part number helps. The parts baler though would be your best bet if there are several worn parts though. Let me know if I can be of help

This frame assembly is no longer available through NH.The Frame assembly is what everything else on the left knotter assy is attached to.I have been looking for a used 530 or 532 for parts in the local area. (Tyler TX.)As yet, I have not found one. Thanks, Bill

I got a chance to check with my parts guy today and yes, your guy told you correctly that the whole assembly (which is all of the knotter parts, billhook, twine disc etc..) is no longer available but the frame itself is. That would be Part number 7500751. Price will probably be high as it is with all of the Ford and NH older baler parts. Still best bet to find a parts baler but if time is critical then you could order that and be back on the field. Since this has gotten so far back I will repost it at the top of the list....
