Help identify Oliver Disk Model 24?

I recently acquired a fairly decent 10' Oliver transport disk. It appears that part of the model number decal is missing. The decal shows the number "24". The transport wheels are set very wide--just about the full width of the disk. There is a hand crank oriented vertically that adjusts the disk's tongue height.

Is 24 the model number or is it something else like 240 or whatever?

Any idea of the vintage of the machine? The guy I bought it from said he used it steady since 1986, but I did not ask him any more about the disk's history.

If wheels are outside the side frames it's probably a 242, if so the front channel iron of the frame should be straight across. 241's the front channel was bent into a very slight "U".

Thanks for the response. Apparently the disk is a 241 as the front channel iron of the frame is bent into a slight "U". I haven't yet toted the disk home. It is in our construction yard at my place of work. Prior owner had welded extra iron to the disk's frame for more weight. Not sure this weight is really needed. Most of the weight added to the disk is behind the centerline of the transport wheel axles making for a butt-heavy machine. Towing the disk to our shop with the weight where it is made the disk slap back and forth. Prudently could not go above 15 MPH. Need to burn off the weights prior to final trip home.

Want to be able to tell my brothers what the model number is when they get to see it. Thanks again.
