DaBrow: The model 62 was M-F's "value leader" for years and was a holdover from the Ferguson years. It is in the 1960 catalogue and was still in the 1971 catalogue. It was available as a 1, 2, or 3 furrow in 10, 12, 14, or 16 inch widths with at least 4 different styles of bodies, and was definitely a lighter duty plough for the guy who mostly ploughed sod or close grain stubble. The brochure shows a lot of coulter attachments like skimmers, jointer, weed hooks. They were a favourite here in this neck of the woods because they were usually sold new with a 35 tractor, and they cost about 200 bucks in 1961. A real good one will go about 150 bucks at a sale. Also a popular plough at the Matches through the 60's until the Kvernelands competition ploughs appeared. Tom
