I think NH balers are all about the same. with plunger pitmat arm straight up or between notches if there, the front of the feeder arm whould be between marks on back of feeder housing. At same time the punch marks on needle drive should line up with marks on driven side, needles in home position. If feeder drive is off, move main drive chain from main gear box to main derive sprocket. If just needles are off you can adjust the needle drive chain. In any case when done run it though cmplete cycle with baler empty to be sure everything clears. Needles should enter bale case just behind front of plunger extension, the closer to the front of it the better. Would be a good idea to get an operator's manuel for it as soon as possible as they really help with problems.
