I pulled out a implement out of the barn that im told is a corn chopper. It has rubber tires, orange in color, doesnt have a pin hitch, just a 2' long pipe for a handle. It has a table that i guess u push the stalks through, has 2 rollers one smooth one on the bottom, and one with bumps on the top, then another roller with 2 knives on it. Does any body know anything about it or were i can get more info. Thanks.
Derek

they are fun to play with. I had an old wooden one. I gave it to a boy when I moved and he put an electric motor on it and used it to chop feed for his 4-H calf.

I wouldn't want to suggest for kids to "play" with any piece of machinery, especially one with knives.

this was a 14 year old farm boy who was keeping the family farm together after his fathers death, a very responcable young man. Yes, by all means. use some common sense.
