I recently purchased an antique, steel-wheeled, ground-driven IH(1200?) manure spreader that is in great shape except for the drag chain. I would like to replace it so I can put it back in use. It came with a replacement chain that is only 36 1/2" wide and I need one that is 38 1/2" wide. Does any one have any ideas where such a drag chain can be purchased or would I be better off extending the one I have? John Ozark Highlands Boer Goats

Depending on the links, usually 67H, spreader chains tend to be generic. You can also buy longer bars with links attached or make them from angle.

Just a general question for anyone out there who owns an IH manure spreader (3 ton) 1980's vintage. What is the best and least expensive way to replace the bottom?
