JD 71 flexi no till planter

I am looking at a John Deere no till planter it has 11 71 flexi row units metal hoppers fair condition some hoppers will have to be replaced been setting outside has anybody had any dealings with these type planters any info would help Thanks Kip

Kip, JD 71s are just about bullit proop. Easy to change plates, adjust, set. the only problem I can see you might have will be with the no-till openers it has. As far a conventional farming, They are as good a planter as it gets. Omiting the newer Air and plate planters. We ran a 6 row doubles (12 units) for a milo planter in the Ok panhandle. Good Luck,
