I'm thinking of trying the 10000 ft. size twine in my NH 65 baler.Have always used 9000 ft. size, but have knots hanging on billhook on one side..... have tried everything else imaginable to correct problem .Any opinions as to the 9000 ft twine vs. 10000 ft??Thanks for any advice.

John, that may just do the trick. Knots hanging on the billhook is the number one problem we dealers have been facing over the past 2 years or so. I'm not sure why, but the thicker the twine, the worse the situation becomes. It appears to me that the twine companies have begun manufacturing thicker twine over the past couple of years. Prior to that, the twine was so thin at spots you could have used it in a sewing machine. Let us know if 10,000 works. Steve

Knots hanging on billhook- Go to your friendly New Holland dealer and order a kit for the twine arm and replace the knife and while you have the knife arm off grind down the half moon shaped groove that slides by the billhook a little in other words let it go around the billhook a little more and adjust it like the other man said and make sure your twine disc timing is correct and the twine fingers are set right and put the 9000 twine in and happy baling. Just a trick I have done for years and it works. If you need more help let me know. I am usually on here about every night. HTH

Look into getting a new knotter. We got a completely new knotter for our 68 for $174. Hardly worth messing with the old one for that money.

I've got a friend whose NH 68 hangs one one billhook with 9000, but change to 10000 and it bales fine. Just a thought.
